IMPORTANT MOD NOTE RE: DAY SCHEDULE
Hey guys! As you may have noticed with the day change, the Corpse Carnival has started! With this, today's IC day will actually last two weeks instead of one. The first week of the IC day will be the bidding, chatter about the event, anticipation, etc. This gives plenty of time for all of the auction items to be bid/won. The actual first rounds of Corpse Carnival event will take place on week 2 in order to give adequate time for both the auction and the fights.
This also means that candy deaths will not occur until the end of next week, not this upcoming week.
Basically:
IC January 18th = 9/28-10/11
If you need to review the event, here is a link to the description post and feel free to ask any ooc questions here. Additionally, to bid for an item, simply comment on that item ICly on the day change with your bid. To outbid another character, reply to their comment. IC!Anon replies are disabled in fairness to all inmates and only the winning bid will be charged to each account. After a character wins (the President will make a final bid call after there are no replies for a little bit) then you will be oocly asked which character your character would choose to inflict the bid item on. These will affect the odds of your character winning-- which will be RNG'd from numbers based on how many items were inflicted on the character.
How the Carnival Corpse RNG Will Work:
If your character would refuse to fight their opponent, please comment in reply to this post so that we can discuss a good IC incentive to force them to fight.

How the Carnival Corpse RNG Will Work:
- 1. Each character in the fight will be assigned either even or odd numbers out of 100. This is their equal start point with 50-50 chance of winning.
2. More numbers will be given to the character's opponent if the character is hindered by an auction item. How the items will affect the character's odds of winning will depend on the starting bid amount ("impact") of the item.
10k Items: Add 5 numbers to the character that benefit's odds. (odds: 55-45)
20k Items: Add 10 numbers to the character that benefit's odds. (odds: 60-40)
30k Items: Add 25 numbers to the character that benefit's odds. (odds: 75-25)
40k Items: Add 35 numbers to the character that benefit's odds. (odds: 85-15)
2 Item Combo: Odds: 90-10
3 Item Combo: Odds: 95-5
4+ Item Combo: Odds: 99-1
3. Each fight will be RNG'd, then characters can play the fight out as they please and have it end however they would like-- as long as the outcome is according to the RNG. Total freedom in that aspect, we just want to make sure that everyone has a fair shot at winning. Miracles and accidents can happen, who really knows!
